The multi-material works are displayed along the 500-meter-long tunnel of the National Assembly House. The lacquer paintings, graphic works, installation works, sculptures, and brass engraved statues illustrate a new perspective of contemporary art on traditional culture, architecture, and art. Large-sized works turn the basement of the National Assembly House into an art museum. 15 artists and more than 100 technical assistants and skilled workers from craft villages in Hanoi, Thai Binh and Thua Thien – Hue province, worked hard for 3 months to complete the works. The temporary art space creates a harmonious connection with the archeological Museum of Thang Long Imperial Citadel and post-Thang Long period. It's like a journey taking visitors from ancient time to the contemporary period. Painter Nguyen The Son, Director of the Contemporary Art Space project said the biggest challenge is to create an artistic space in a national political and cultural building. The space will be the 1st stop in a tour of the National Assembly House. Từ khóa: VOV VOVworld National Assembly House paintings Thang Long excavation Feedback Submit Xem thêm
