Addressing the opening ceremony, Italian Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni hailed the event as an opportunity to share Italian folk arts and cultural values to local and international visitors. They could participate in sports and had an opportunity to be coached by trainers from Juventus F.C Academy. The 2-day festival during the weekend was to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Italy-Vietnam relations.
