(VOVWORLD) - A national conference on the implementation of four Politburo resolutions was held on Tuesday morning, connecting all provinces, cities, ministries, and sectors across the country. The conference showed the determination of the Party and State to lay a foundation for rapid, sustainable national development in the new period.

The four Politburo resolutions are Resolution 59 on international integration in the new context, Resolution 70 on ensuring national energy security until 2030, with a vision to 2045, Resolution 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development, and Resolution 72 on breakthroughs in healthcare and public health. The four resolutions focus on sustainability, improving development, ensuring social security, and adapting to a volatile world.

From political determination to practical action

The resolutions reaffirm the consistent policy of the Vietnamese Party and State to place people at the center of development. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh told the conference: “The resolutions stress that people are the most important factor deciding the success or failure of the nation. Investing in people means investing in development, investing in the future of the nation.”

At the conference, the participants were required to thoroughly study the resolutions and quickly translate them into action programs at every level in every sector. No matter how well-intentioned a resolution may be, it loses meaning if it’s not implemented decisively and systematically. If organized scientifically and tied to the responsibility of leaders, the resolution will generate a strong driving force that motivates all sectors, localities, and communities, as pointed out by Party General Secretary To Lam at the conference.

“From now until the end of the year, the National Assembly will convene its 10th session, the final session of the 15th tenure. The contents of these resolutions must be immediately institutionalized into related resolutions and laws by the National Assembly. Party committees of central agencies and localities must promptly implement and update them. Party congresses draft documents, action plans must reflect this spirit in their resolutions and documents. Action programs must be carried out right away without delay,” said Mr. Lam.

New driving force for national development

Party leader To Lam emphasized that these four resolutions cover the key pillars of development: international integration to expand growth space, energy to ensure infrastructure foundations, education to improve human resources, and healthcare to safeguard people’s health. He acknowledged that the implementation will face many challenges. International integration requires firm political will in the midst of geopolitical complications. Energy security is under pressure from rising demand and the need for a green transition. Education must address shortcomings and regional disparities. Healthcare must resolve overload, staff shortages, and universal healthcare demands.

These challenges are testing the nation’s leadership and governance capacity. The General Secretary called on leaders at all levels to implement the resolutions energetically and creatively, with clear objectives, roadmaps, responsibilities, and oversight mechanisms. When the Party, people, and army unite in action, the four resolutions will generate a new driving force, create tangible changes in every sector, and contribute to making Vietnam a developed, prosperous, happy nation by 2045.

“The implementation of these four resolutions will provide fresh momentum for breakthroughs, enabling us to achieve our goals of building a wealthier, more civilized country and increasing human happiness. I call on the political system to unite and work together. Each person should take action and achieve concrete results every day through discipline, creativity, and perseverance. May today’s resolutions permeate every level and sector of society and turn aspirations into action, action into results, and results into renewed confidence,” said Mr. Lam.

Tuesday’s conference reaffirmed Vietnam’s development path of serving people’s quality of life, fostering integration, and rising sustainably in the new era.
