The official launch ceremony was held Saturday in Gia Lai province. The campaign, now in its 26th year, will run through August.

Do Van Chien, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee, said: "Youth Unions at all levels and young people nationwide need to promote creativity, initiative, and the aspiration to contribute to national construction and defense in the new era through socio-economic development efforts and environmental protection activities. I hope the Youth Union will effectively lead the digital education movement, helping young people and the wider public adapt to a digital society and apply digital technology across all aspects of life."

The Da Nang launch of the campaign drew more than 600 youth union members. Le Cong Hung, Secretary of the municipal Youth Union, said: "We have mobilized union members and students across the city to participate in volunteer efforts. They help replace substandard houses and assist students in underprivileged areas. This year, the local youth union is focused on the ‘Digital Education for the People’ movement and social welfare initiatives."

On Sunday, Binh Dinh province kicked off the campaign with a launch of the “Green Friendly School” model, the “Dream Library” project, a book festival called “My Friend”, and the opening of a free swimming class for underprivileged children.

The 2025 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign continues to affirm the role, responsibility, and aspiration of Vietnamese youth, spreading positive and humanistic values, and supporting the cause of national development.
