Cua Van village, in particular, has been named among the world’s most beautiful villages in the world by renowned travel websites several times.

Most of the residents in the two fishing villages have been resettled in Ha Phong ward while a small group of villagers stay and live on aquaculture.

Quang Ninh province has implemented several programs to preserve and promote landmarks in the old fishing villages, including the Cua Van floating culture center and floating houses.

Visitors to Cua Van and Vung Vieng can explore floating classrooms, enjoy singing performances, and experience the craft of making and repairing of traditional fishing tools.
