Naval delegation visits Truong Sa, DK1 Platform

(VOVWORLD) - A delegation from the Vietnam People’s Navy, led by Colonel Cao Van Son, has completed a week-long visit to six islands in the Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago and the DK1 Platform.

The group included representatives from Binh Duong, Dong Nai, An Giang, Soc Trang provinces, the Vietnam association of small and medium enterprises, and reporters from VOV.

They delivered gifts to soldiers and residents, showing support for those safeguarding national sovereignty at sea.

Can Ngoc Son, Chairman of Truong Sa Town People's Committee, said: "Officials, soldiers, and residents of Truong Sa District are always delighted to welcome working delegations. These visits not only bring warmth and heartfelt support from the mainland, but also help improve our living conditions through meaningful gifts. We remain united, proactive, and always ready to defend the sacred sovereignty of our homeland’s seas and islands."
