The event was held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Information and Communications, the General Political Department of the People’s Army of Vietnam, and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
The contest received 9,600 entries from 2,500 authors from 63 provinces and cities nationwide, nearly doubling the number of entries in 2021. The works, which were meticulously created, show the potential and beauty of Vietnam’s seas and islands, Vietnamese people’s love for their homeland, and Vietnam’s economic achievements.

The jury awarded 22 works, including two first prizes.
Visiting the exhibition, soldier Nguyen The Manh, of the 131st Naval Engineer Brigade, said: “Watching those artworks, I love my country more. I’m proud of Vietnam’s beautiful landscape. I will raise my sense of responsibility to protect the sovereignty of Vietnam’s seas and islands.”
132 works were selected to be displayed at the exhibition.
