The programs are part of activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and National Reunification Day, April 30.
The city’s youth offered incense in tribute to martyrs, presented national flags, offered gifts to local soldiers, provided free medical exams to local citizens, gave career counseling and scholarships to students, and visited traditional craft villages.
The youth programs also featured a cultural exchange between the youth of Ho Chi Minh City and local soldiers and citizens, aimed at educating the youth on the nation’s traditions, inspiring their patriotism and encouraging them to contribute to safeguarding national borders, sea, and islands.
