(VOVworld) – Nghe An province has opened an exhibition of historical and legal evidence to prove Vietnam’s sovereignty of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos. On display are 154 documents and publications, 100 maps collected by Vietnamese and foreign experts, and photos and objects proving that Vietnam has practiced and protected its sovereignty over the two archipelagoes.

Dong Van Huyen, a fisherman, was visiting the exhibition: “I’m very proud to visit the exhibition of the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. It helps enhance our readiness to protect national sea and islands. Not only me but all people are aware of our responsibility to protect national sovereignty.”
The exhibition will close on August 24.
