Speaking at the welcoming ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the An Giang provincial Party Committee, highlighted that the Minsk–Phu Quoc route opens up new opportunities for cooperation, bridging the distance between Southeast Asia and Central–Eastern Europe. The route will facilitate tourism, business, and investment exchanges between Belarus and Vietnam and also help Vietnamese goods, agricultural products, and industrial items reach Belarusian and European markets more conveniently.
