Voice of Vietnam signs new media deals with Russian, Belarusian partners

(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) signed cooperation agreements with Russia’s Orpheus Radio and the National State TV and Radio Company of Belarus during Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam’s official visit to Russia and state visit to Belarus from May 5 to 12.

Under the deal with Orpheus Radio, VOV will receive classical and contemporary Russian music and introduce it to Vietnamese audiences.

The agreement with Belarus’s state broadcaster includes expanded exchange of radio and digital content, joint program production, media data sharing, professional training, and delegation visits.

VOV President Do Tien Sy said the signing in Moscow, witnessed by General Secretary Lam and the Presidents of Russia and Belarus, marked a significant step for the national broadcaster.

“The two important documents are part of the lead-up to the 80th anniversary of the Voice of Vietnam. Our international cooperation focuses on practical, modern, and effective partnerships with trusted media organizations. These new agreements lay the groundwork for VOV to push forward, not just in radio, but also in technology and digital platforms,” said VOV’s President Sy.
