The Ministry said the third quarter of 2024 marked a strong recovery in Vietnam's main seafood import markets. In October, seafood export reached 1.1 billion USD, bringing the total seafood export value in 10 months to 8.33 billion USD, up 12% over the same period last year. The United States, China and Japan are the three largest seafood consumption markets of Vietnam.  

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said that with impressive growth in recent months, especially in October, seafood exports can exceed this year's export plan of 10 billion USD.
