The inauguration of the Vietnam-Japan Industrial Park.

Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, told the inauguration ceremony: “Investment in Can Tho province and the Mekong Delta in general is part of Japan’s investment expansion purpose. Can Tho has well prepared to receive investment from Japan. Economic, trade, and tourism exchange programs take place annually. Japanese businesses have shown greater interest in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta.”
A Vietnamese and Japanese cultural and trade exchange program was held in Can Tho city on Friday night. It included a Japan-Mekong cooperation forum and a trade fair with 120 booths displaying Vietnamese and Japanese products and services.
Can Tho University and Brain Works Asia Company inaugurated a Modern Technology Innovation Research Office to study technological application on aquaculture and rice production in the Mekong Delta. Professor, Doctor Ha Thanh Toan is Rector of the Can Tho University: “With support from Japanese businesses and teachers of Can Tho University, we nurture and turn ideas into reality and develop production in the Vietnam-Japan Industrial Park. The cooperation will help Can Tho City promote start-ups and establish new industrial zones.”
