This funding will facilitate nationwide replication of the eco-industrial park (EIP) model based on successes in the 2014-2024 period, promote a circular economy in the industrial sector and in IPs, minimize the impact of production activities on the environment, and help IPs respond to climate change.

Since 1992 Switzerland has provided more than 700 million USD in ODA to Vietnam through SECO. For the 2021-2024 cooperation program, Switzerland has promised 79 million USD to build a strong economic framework and improve private sector competitiveness and market access.
