The forum is part of the 7th meeting of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Committee on Industry, Trade and Energy Cooperation.
In his address, Minister Dien highlighted the importance of enhancing Vietnam-Japan strategic cooperation amid global complications.
He said he hopes Japanese businesses will consider and, hopefully rapidly launch new investment projects in Vietnam, especially in high-tech sectors where the needs are high and favorable investment policies are on offer, such as semiconductor, manufacturing, electronics, chemicals, new materials, and green energy.”

“Vietnam hopes Japan’s agencies will facilitate Vietnamese businesses in finding new opportunities to invest in and put into operation in Japan,” Dien noted.
At the forum, delegates and businesses from both countries received updates on new policies and information regarding key areas such as energy, nuclear power, industry, and supply chains.
