Petrovietnam to cooperate with Petrobras, Brazil's National Oil and Gas Group

(VOVWORLD) -Mr. Tran Binh Minh, a member of the Members’ Council of the State-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), along with representatives from its subsidiaries, visited Petrobras, Brazil's National Oil and Gas Group, for productive discussions, during an official visit accompanying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to the G20 Summit in Brazil from November 16 to November 19.

At the meeting, Mr. Minh provided an overview of Petrovietnam's operations and strategic direction for the future. The two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation, including oil and gas  exploration and production, offshore wind energy development, carbon capture and storage (CCS/CCUS), and fertilizer production.

Mr. Minh expressed his hope that this meeting, bolstered by the strong friendship between Vietnam and Brazil, will pave the way for fruitful collaboration between Petrovietnam and Petrobras and mark a new chapter of cooperative relations between the two nations and their companies.
