(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh praised the cooperation in Binh Duong province that has enabled many firms to resume their normal operation after the recent anti-Chinese protests there.
Ninh met Wednesday at a meeting with Binh Duong officials and representatives of businesses that were affected. Ninh said inciting violence and damaging or looting corporate assets is a violation of Vietnamese law and that Vietnam will not tolerate law-breakers.
Ninh said the Vietnamese government has instructed local authorities in all affected localities to promptly investigate and punish violations and take steps to prevent any re-occurrence of such acts. He reiterated Vietnam’s policy of creating the best possible conditions for foreign businesses and investors and ensuring their rights in accordance with Vietnamese law and international practices.
