The award is held annually to honor journalists with outstanding reports on scientific and technological activities by scientists, localities, and businesses.
VOV1 Department of News and Current Affairs of the Voice of Vietnam won the second prize for a series of reports entitled "Strategy for science and technology development and innovation: Strongly promoting the intelligence and creativity of Vietnamese people".
