The fixture is slated for February 1. However, things will depend on developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh said.
It will be the third straight game of Vietnam on their home field that allows spectators. Their previous matches against Japan and Saudi Arabia welcomed about 20,000 people each.
Vietnam remained at the bottom of group B after losing all six matches.
This is the first time that Vietnam has played in the final qualifying round.
