(VOVworld) - All five Vietnamese students participating in the International Physics Olympiad 2016 in Switzerland brought home medals, including two golds, two silvers, and one bronze.

The news was released by the Ministry of Education and Training on Monday.

Dinh Thi Huong Thao, a 12th grader from Nam Dinh province’s Le Hong Phong high school for the gifted, and 11th grader Nguyen The Quynh of Quang Binh province’s Vo Nguyen Giap high school won gold medals.

Thao was also named the “Best Female Asian Pacific Participant” by the Association of Asia-Pacific Physics Societies.
