The news was released by the Ministry of Education and Training on Monday.

Dinh Thi Huong Thao, a 12th grader from Nam Dinh province’s Le Hong Phong high school for the gifted, and 11th grader Nguyen The Quynh of Quang Binh province’s Vo Nguyen Giap high school won gold medals.

Thao was also named the “Best Female Asian Pacific Participant” by the Association of Asia-Pacific Physics Societies.

A ceremony to welcome the delegation will take place at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on Tuesday.
