Foreign Minister Son on Sunday received First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Vladimir Titov who is visiting Vietnam for the 13th diplomacy-defense-security strategic dialogue between the two countries.
The FM expressed his wish that the two sides continue to promote potential areas of cooperation, in accordance with the aspirations and interests of the two peoples.
Deputy FM Titov said Russia values the traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam.
He expected that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the two countries will maintain the good tradition of cooperation, promote the role of coordinating and promoting effective bilateral cooperation between the two countries, as well as close coordination in the international arena.
