(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called for deeper exchanges of experience between Vietnam and Singapore in Party building, leadership and governance, socio-economic development, and regional and international issues of mutual concern.

He made the remarks during a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for Chan Chun Sing, Assistant Secretary-General of Singapore’s People’s Action Party (PAP), Coordinating Minister for Public Service, and Minister for Defence, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

PM Chinh welcomed the visit as a concrete demonstration of both Parties’ and countries’ commitment to advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established during Party General Secretary To Lam’s official visit to Singapore in March.

Assistant Secretary-General Chan reaffirmed Singapore’s continued close consultation, coordination, and support for Vietnam at regional and international multilateral forums, particularly in ASEAN and the United Nations.
