During a reception in Hanoi on Tuesday for New Zealand’s new Ambassador to Vietnam, Caroline Beresford, Mr. Chinh suggested that measures to be taken to achieve this goal include facilitating the export and import of each other's products, continuing New Zealand's support in the training of the English language and other specialized fields for Vietnamese officials in Vietnam, and expanding people-to-people exchanges.
Ambassador Beresford pledged to work closely with relevant agencies, ministries, and sectors of both countries to promote cooperation in trade, investment, education, agriculture, climate change response, and the green and digital economy.

Receiving new Japanese Ambassador Ito Naoki the same day, PM Chinh asked the diplomat to actively coordinate with Vietnam to effectively implement the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework between the two countries.
He said Vietnam and Japan should strengthen political trust; boost economic cooperation; expand cooperation to new fields such as digital transformation, green transition, and innovation; promote technology transfer and innovation; enhance human resource development; and increase cooperation in international and regional issues of mutual concern.
Ambassador Ito said the most important task during his tenure in Vietnam is to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries towards the next 50 years, adding that he has set a target to contribute to doubling bilateral trade to 100 billion USD in ten years.
He also said that Japan will help train semiconductor and AI human resources for Vietnam through the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
