(VOVworld) – A conference was held on Thursday in Laos’ Bolikhamsay province to increase communications on the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

The meeting marks the 52^nd anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. Lao delegates thanked Vietnam for its assistance and spoke highly of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts affirming that relations between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party will continue to grow.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Manh Hung said the Vietnamese Party, government, and people always follow Laos’ achievements in national construction and defense. Vietnam wants to increase cooperation and fortify the long-lasting relationship.
