Suleimenov highlighted the comprehensive development of friendship between Vietnam and Kazakhstan since the establishment of their bilateral Strategic Partnership.
He said Vietnam has favourable conditions for developing an international financial center, given its strong economic growth momentum and extensive ties with international financial institutions.
During the meeting, Deputy PM Binh assigned the State Bank of Vietnam to work closely with the National Bank of Kazakhstan to promote the signing of a new memorandum of understanding to replace the existing agreement signed in 2012 and expand cooperation into new areas, including fintech and the development of an international financial center.
On the occasion, the Deputy PM visited the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Kazakhstan.
