Mr. Binh, currently paying an official visit to Bulgaria, praised the many advances in friendship and cooperation between the two countries.  He briefed the Bulgarian President on his talks with Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev and asked Bulgaria to push for ratification of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA).

President Radev said Vietnam is one of Bungaria’s most important partners in Southeast Asia, and suggested an increase in the exchange of visits at all levels to boost cooperation in economy, trade, and investment. On the occasion, Deputy PM Binh conveyed Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong’s invitation to President Radev to visit Vietnam next year, when the countries will mark 70 years of diplomatic relations.

Deputy PM Binh on Tuesday visited the Embassy of Vietnam and talked with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Bulgaria. He hailed the embassy staff for their professionalism, their positive contributions to bilateral relations, and for supporting the Vietnamese community and protecting Vietnamese citizens.
The Deputy PM praised the solidarity and mutual assistance of the overseas Vietnamese and recognised their practical contributions to Vietnam and to the friendship between the two countries.
