Mr. Trong made the statement at a reception in Hanoi on Wednesday for the newly-appointed ambassadors of Bulgaria, Italy, Brazil, Tunisia, Iceland, Lesotho, Syria, Benin, Malta, and Ghana. Mr. Trong said he hopes that the ambassadors will quickly grasp the situation in Vietnam and serve as important bridges to connect Vietnam with their countries. Before the reception, the diplomats presented their credentials to Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong.
