EIU’s business environment rankings measure the attractiveness of doing business in 82 countries with 91 crucial indicators. 

The countries that improved the most over the past year are Vietnam, Thailand, Belgium, Sweden, India and Costa Rica. Vietnam is rated as having the greatest motivation, jumping 12 places. Thailand increased 10 places and India 6 places.

Singapore maintained its position as the world's best place to do business for the 15th year in a row and will continue to be the best place to do business for the next five years.
