Women and children’s rights have been one of Vietnam’s top priorities during its HRC membership and are one of the main topics discussed at the 29th HRC session.

Addressing the seminar, Ambassador Nguyen Trung Thanh, head of Vietnam’s Permanent Mission to the UN and other international organisations in Geneva, called on all nations to pay attention to convention committees’ recommendations on eliminating infringements on children’s rights. He reiterated Vietnam’s commitments to building legal basis and policies to address challenges in protecting children’s rights. Women and children’s rights have been one of Vietnam’s top priorities during its HRC membership and are one of the main topics discussed at the 29th HRC session.
