PM Chinh said the two governments play an enabling role by crafting strategic policies and creating favorable conditions for businesses to invest, cooperate, and grow together.
He said he hopes that Vietnamese and Swedish business communities, given their huge cooperation potential, will renew existing cooperation dynamics.
“With the fine traditions of our two countries and peoples, we have every reason to invest in each other. Vietnamese tech companies – particularly distributors – will continue to connect the Swedish economy to Vietnam, to ASEAN, and to Northeast Asia,” said Mr. Chinh. “We are committed to protecting your legitimate rights and interests, maintaining political stability and social order, and ensuring policy consistency so we can do business, build partnerships, and push boundaries together.”
Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa, who co-chaired the forum, said Vietnam’s development strategies are closely aligned with Sweden’s, particularly in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
He said a highly skilled workforce, the strong presence of major companies across sectors, advanced clean technologies, quality services, and extensive global networks make Sweden well-positioned for mutually beneficial cooperation with Vietnam.
PM Chinh and Minister Dousa witnessed the exchange of 7 cooperation documents by agencies and businesses.
