PM Chinh praised the university's educational philosophy, which is encapsulated in the word "Freedom." He said that the long and arduous struggles for peace and freedom of the Vietnamese nation were strongly supported by people around the world, including Swedish people. Mr. Chinh said such heartfelt support from the government and people of Sweden forms a solid foundation for the two countries to usher in a new phase of deeper and more comprehensive cooperation in all areas.
The Prime Minister said in the current unpredictable and complex global context, Vietnam and Sweden should continue to unite, uphold shared values, maintain peace, independence and self-reliance. Both countries are now facing a historic opportunity to rise and affirm their roles as leading economies in the region, said PM Chinh.
“It’s necessary to create breakthroughs in economic, trade, and investment cooperation. We must work closely for mutual benefit and connect our enterprises and economies. We will sign strategic partnership on science, technology, and innovation, the areas in which Sweden has strengths and Vietnam has a strong demand. So we can support and accompany each other to move forward,” said PM Chinh.
