The signing ceremony took place Tuesday at a conference in Dak Nong province to review the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation between 2014 and 2016. The two associations will work together to raise public awareness of travel regulations in border areas and citizens’ responsibility for border protection and prevention of illegal activities. They will also publicize the achievements of Vietnam-Cambodia land border demarcation and decry the distortions and sabotage schemes of subversive forces. The armed forces and citizens of Dak Nong and Muldulkiri share responsibility for defending their shared border.
