Vietnam, Cambodia foreign ministries convene political consultation

(VOVworld) - Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam and Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia Ung Sean co-chaired the fifth political consultation between the two foreign ministries in Hanoi on May 5. Each reviewed their country’s situation and the two groups discussed a number of regional and global issues. They agreed to organise a sixth meeting in Cambodia at a suitable time.

Each reviewed their country’s situation and the two groups discussed a number of regional and global issues. They agreed to organise a sixth meeting in Cambodia at a suitable time. 
Later, Ung Sean paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh. Minh called the consultation a sound mechanism for the two foreign ministries to promote mutual understanding, share experience, and enhance coordination.
