The Party Committee of Vietnam Airlines JSC held its 6th Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term on Tuesday.
Attending the Congress, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that alongside its business activities, Vietnam Airlines also carries the mission of being the backbone of the national transportation infrastructure. It's a “cultural ambassador” in the sky, contributing to further Vietnam’s international integration, attracting investment, trade, tourism, and promoting the image of Vietnam and its people, said Mr. Ha.
“In the green transition race, I’d like to highlight the race to Net-Zero emissions. If we cannot meet these requirements, we will not be able to overcome the technical barriers. If we take proactive, determined, and early action, especially in terms of fuel sources, we can manage cost competitiveness,” Deputy PM Ha said.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that Vietnam Airlines JSC should urgently finalize the plans to optimize the design and functionality of Long Thanh International Airport and other key airports, considering them the foundation for reaching out to the world.
