(VOVworld) - Venezuela’s National Assembly Speaker, Diosdado Cabello, said on Sunday he planned to file lawsuits against the Spanish newspaper ABC and the US Wall Street Journal following media reports accusing him of global cocaine trafficking and money laundering without any kind of proof.

Cabello said in the national TV channel Televen broadcast Sunday that Spain and the US are leading something called “freedom of speech” but their press report information without presenting any type of proof.

He stressed that inventing lies is embarrassing and must be punished.
