(VOVworld) - Denise Rollins, Acting Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Asia of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), inspected the dioxin detoxification project at Da Nang Airport on Tuesday.

She praised the work’s progress and the effective cooperation of Vietnamese agencies. So far the project has removed 35,000 cubic meters of dioxin-contaminated soil and mud and will detoxify 80,000 cubic meters. During her visit to Da Nang city, Rollins visited the Da Nang Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Hospital and met with partners in the private sector.
