The leaders discussed the conflict in Ukraine, fentanyl trafficking, and agricultural trade deals. Later Trump wrote on his social media platform that the US relationship with China is “extremely strong.”

“President Xi invited me to visit Beijing in April, which I accepted, and I reciprocated where he will be my guest for a state visit in the US later in the year,” President Trump said.

Chinese media reported that the two also discussed Taiwan. Regarding Russia-Ukraine conflict, President Xi said China supports all efforts for peace in Ukraine and urges all sides to narrow their differences.
