Chairing the Government’s regular meeting for November on Saturday, PM Chinh expressed sympathy for the people and localities heavily affected by prolonged natural disasters and flooding in recent months, and praised the spirit of solidarity shown across the country.
To help the residents stabilize their lives, the Government has launched the “Quang Trung Campaign” to mobilize all resources to swiftly rebuild and repair houses before January 31, 2026, ensuring everyone has a home to welcome the 2026 Lunar New Year.
Mr. Chinh said: “It’s unacceptable that prior to the 14th National Party Congress, many people are still homeless. This is an ‘order of the heart,’ a revolutionary spirit expected of every official and Party member. The central government, ministries, and sectors must join in with strong revolutionary spirit to resolve the consequences of severe storms and floods.”

The average consumer price index in 11 months increased 3.3% year-on-year. Public investment disbursement reached around 21 million USD, equivalent to more than 60% of the annual plan. Many international organizations have continued to give positive assessments and optimistic forecasts about Vietnam’s economic outlook in 2025.
Prime Minister Chinh stressed the determination to disburse 100% of public investment capital to drive overall investment and development.
He asked to ensure a balanced supply and demand of goods and services, and stabilize markets and prices toward the year-end period to prevent shortages and price hikes.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment was assigned to intensify measures to have the EU’s IUU “yellow card” removed by December 2025.
