US, Japan, South Korea summit to lead to security cooperation framework

(VOVWORLD) - The tripartite summit scheduled for Friday at Camp David, involving US President Joe Biden, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is expected to form a key framework for security cooperation among the three countries.

In addition, the leaders will discuss a shared vision and fundamental principles for trilateral cooperation, as well as to build comprehensive and multilayered cooperation mechanisms across various sectors and at every levels.

The summit agenda will encompass discussions regarding measures to enhance collaboration for the trilateral prosperity and future development of the regions, including ways of cooperation in modern industries, and strengthening partnerships to address economic security concerns related to areas such as energy and supply chains.
