The statement was signed following a working session by the two leaders to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue and the Middle East peace process. The statement affirmed an "unbreakable" relationship between the US and Israel and an unwavering commitment by the US to Israel's security.
This is Biden's first visit to the Middle East as US President. Biden will meet with Palestinian President Malmould Abbas before leaving for Saudi Arabia.
