Also on Thursday, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia advised its citizens to stay away from the border with Thailand amid the ongoing tensions.
The US Embassy and Consulate in Thailand said US citizens living or traveling near the Thailand-Cambodia border should follow directions from Thai security services and consult local government authorities for the latest information.
