(VOVworld) – One year since the MH17 plane crash in eastern Ukraine, the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic released documents on the crash investigation. Among the documents are photos, forensics results, the scene examination documents, and statements of witnesses.

The Donetsk news agency said almost all witnesses confirmed the appearance of another aircraft in the sky at the time of the tragedy. The chief prosecutor of Donetsk said he will engage in investigation and provide international experts his data.
The cause of the crash has not been verified. The Russian Federal Investigation Committee said the Boeing was brought down by a surface-to-air missile. The Ukrainian government and the west accused gunmen in eastern Ukraine for shooting down the plane. But the separatists in the east strongly rejected the accusation, saying the government force shot it down by mistake.
The Netherlands Safety Committee is scheduled to make public its latest investigation result in October.
