They agreed that maintaining the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement is the best way to prevent Iran from its nuclear ambition.

The same day, French President Emmanuel Macron and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani agreed to work on preserving the deal signed by the P5+1 group including the UK, France, Russia, China, the US, and Germany. Mr. Macron proposed that the discussions be broadened to cover 3 additional subjects: Tehran’s ballistic missile program, its nuclear activities after 2025, and the main regional crises in the Middle East.

Mr. Rouhani said the Iran nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or any other subject under its pretext is not negotiable. President Macron is working to save the deal while US President Donald Trump threats to quit and calls for new sanctions against Iran.
