Since the Tra Linh border gate was upgraded to international status, transshipped goods from neighboring countries have passed through it en route to Southeast Asian markets, said Ly Quoc Khanh, Deputy Head of the Cao Bang Economic Zone Management Board and Head of Tra Linh International Border Gate.

"Cao Bang province is pushing for the construction of the Dong Dang-Tra Linh expressway, which will directly connect to the border gate next month. We are also upgrading essential infrastructure to make Tra Linh a ‘smart’ border gate,’" he added.

Electronic components, textiles, industrial wood, cashew nuts, frozen seafood, and fresh fruits are the main products exported via the Tra Linh border gate.
