This success can be attributed to Cao Bang’s recent efforts to promote its tourism through digital platforms and the organization of distinctive cultural and traditional festivals.

In addition, the improvement of infrastructure and the effective promotion of key tourist attractions such as Ban Gioc waterfall, Pac Bo historical site, and the Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark have greatly enhanced the visitor experience. Cross-border tourism cooperation has been boosted, notably with the upgrade of Tra Linh border gate into an international one.

Ly Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the Management Board of the Cao Bang Border Economic Zone, said, "One year after Tra Linh was upgraded into an International Border Gate and put into operation, the number of tourists has increased significantly. On weekends, it welcomes an average of 2,000 visitors per day. Travelers from third countries are eligible to complete exit procedures through the gate."

Cao Bang Province will continue to focus on improving infrastructure, and diversifying tourism products in order to effectively tap into the potential of the UNESCO-recognized Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark.
