At the opening of his remarks, Chairman Man highlighted that under the theme “Inclusive and Sustainable,” the ASEAN has achieved significant, steady progress in maintaining peace, stability, and prosperity across the region. Reflecting on the ASEAN’s priorities, AIPA-46 adopted the theme, “Parliaments at the Forefront of an Inclusive and Sustainable ASEAN Growth,” underscoring the pivotal role of legislative bodies in shaping a future of equitable development and shared prosperity for all ASEAN citizens.

Amid rapidly evolving and complex regional and global dynamics, Chairman Tran Thanh Man said: “AIPA needs to prioritize enhancing the effectiveness of regional cooperation, strengthen its role as a bridge, encourage and enable all sectors and stakeholders to actively contribute to implementing the ASEAN Community Vision 2045. AIPA must take the lead in building institutions and policies to translate regional commitments and agreements into concrete actions, especially in science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation.”
He affirmed that on this new journey, Vietnam’s National Assembly will remain a steadfast partner of AIPA, working to realize ASEAN’s vision and aspirations. Vietnam, he added, stands ready to share its experiences, strengthen dialogue,
