Mr. Lam said Vietnam prioritizes selectively attracting investment, particularly in high tech, semiconductors, AI, renewable energy, green hydrogen, and infrastructure, he said, adding that these are areas where US investors have a lot of strengths. The top leader said he believes cooperation in semiconductors and AI will open up opportunities for businesses in both countries to leverage each other’s strengths.
The top leader said that Vietnam prioritizes attracting selective investment, particularly in high-tech, semiconductor, AI, research and development, renewable energy, green hydrogen, and infrastructure projects, he said, adding that these are areas where US investors have a lot of potential and strengths.
“Many of our localities are looking forward to welcoming US investors. We have created infrastructure and the best conditions for investment in Vietnam, he said.
“Vietnam always values international cooperation and understands that to succeed and advance in high-tech fields, especially in the semiconductor and AI industries, it is necessary to go together and build a solid value chain. Vietnam welcomes US businesses and organizations to jointly develop creative and sustainable solutions.”
Mr. Lam said he believes contributions by all parties will make the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership more substantive and effective.
