(VOVworld) – The Thai National Legislative Council will review procedures to discharge 3 senior leaders in meetings on Thursday and Friday. They are former speaker of the House of Representatives Somsak Kiatsuranont, former Senate President Nikhom Wairatpanij, and former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. Polls to discharge the 3 officials are expected to be held in January. Thailand’s Anti-Corruption Commission will submit files to the National Legislative Council this week to consider discharging 39 former Senators relating to the Constitutional Amendment in 2007. The 2007 Constitution was suspended by the National Council for Peace and Order after the military coup last May.
