The project is being funded by the Ministry of Public Security and led by the Thai Nguyen People’s Committee.
“The Steering Committee for Eliminating Makeshift and Dilapidated Houses in Thai Nguyen will work closely with the Ministry of Public Security to implement this initiative,” Hoang Thu Trang, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee, said.

Major General Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Ministry of Public Security Office, said improving housing conditions is a key social security goal and a political priority for the public security forces.
“Approximately 30,100 homes have been built nationwide since 2019 and this program continues to receive strong support from the entire public security forces. We’re all working together to improve social welfare as effectively as possible,” Mr. Nguyen said.

The 1,000 new houses in Thai Nguyen are expected to be completed bynext month. Authorities say the program reflects the solidarity between the police and the public and underscores a broader commitment to national development and social stability.
