As of this month, 264,000 of 274,000 planned houses have been built or renovated, a completion rate of 95.3%. Many provinces and cities have met or exceeded their target.

18 provinces have completed the program. 16 others are expected to complete housing for revolutionary contributors by July 27, War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, and complete the entire program by August 31.

“We’ve successfully implemented the national program to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses as a tribute to major national holidays this year. This mass campaign has really won people’s hearts,” said Mr. Chien.
